Very disappointing

This was my son's #1 wish last Christmas. Unfortunately, it was a big disappointment. It is too heavy and does not stay together -- a complete waste of Santa's resources.
Heavy Helmet

I purchased this item for my 6 year old son. It was too heavy at first but still complains of neck pain; but absolutely loves this toy! My 3 year old son enjoys it as well but I would not recommend it for young children. Also very noisey!!
Hella fun but fragile!

I bought 3 of these, all three started coming apart after an hour of use, plastic was breaking allover!

Although the plastic broke on all 3, all three kids LOVED them and continued to play with them. The functionality never broke, just the outside.
Size may be a little too big for younger kids

Bought this for my godson and he loved it. The size is large enough that I was even able to put it on myself. The only knock that I have on the product is that it my godson had to tilt the head to put the mouthpiece closer to his mouth in order to make the voice distorter work. Think they should have made the helmet smaller for the core target group instead of making it bg enough for adults to wear.
Great for using that imagination

Dissapointing . . .

My best friend's son LOVES Transformers, and Bumblebee is his favorite. I couldn't wait for Christmas to come so I could give this to him. I even got the Optimus Prime helmet for his sister so they could play together. I have to say, this toy is very disappointing. When you talk while wearing the helmet, the same song plays as you speak and it doesn't play every time or for the entire time you are talking. You can also clearly hear the voice of the person wearing the helmet, as nothing changes your voice, the song just plays while you talk. I understand that Bumblebee talks through the radio, but come on. At least have more than one song that plays, and make it so the person's voice changes to sound "robotic". The Optimus Prime helmet is great! When wearing it, your voice really does sound like Optimus. My friend's daughter wound up getting the better helmet and she's not even the big Transformers fan. :(
bumble bee- awesome

my 5 year old loves this, and so does my husband, one thing is my son has to push his face very close to the mouth piece, so that it will alter his voice, and its hard to hear him with the bumble bee music playing at the same time, we also got the opt prime too they are great toys very very cool.
My 8 yr old nephew loved it!

Our boys received the two helmets, Optimus Prime and Bumblebee. Optimus Prime is GREAT!!
Bumblebee.....not so much.
The voicechanger is too sublte to really hear a difference, and you can't speak without the "music".
I realize that Bumblebee didn't/doesn't really talk, but for the sake of fun, IMO, they should have made Bumblebee helmet like Optimus.
My boys love the Optimus helmet...Bumblebee may as well go straight to the trash bin.
Very disappointing.
My Nephews Christmas present

Reviewer: Kayce K,
I bought the helmet and I was so excited for my nephew to get it. He's 8 years old and when he opened it he loved it! Very nice and easy to put together. The only problem with it was that when you put it on you have to be careful because the inside of the helmet has some sharpe sides and it will scrape you. It didn't cut him or anything just scraped him a little. He said that it hurt his head but once we got it adjusted to fit him correctly he didn't want to take it off.
FUN

Thie toy is awesome. We got this toy for our son for Christmas. He loves it. My husband can wear it as well. Unlike other reviews I have read this helmet stays put together and is not too heavy for my 4 year old to wear. We also got the arm gun and it completes the helmet.

My son received this as 5th bday present. He was excited and thought it was cool. He wore it twice and not once since. It is VERY heavy for him. It bobbles all over him and makes him top heavy. We worked with it many times to try and adjust it. He put into a corner after his party and it sat there all Thanksgiving and after. Adults tried wearing it and we all agreed no one thought it sounded much like Bumblebee. Very disappointed in this product. My son is average height and weight for a 5 yr. old. I think this should be for late 6 to 7 yrs. old. Wish I could return it.
Cool but too big

This item was very cool. But it's description says for a child but it's way to big for any normal child's head. Really more fitted for adults.
Fun for the first few days

Reviewer: DonMalHan,
My 4-year old (who is obsessed with Transformer toys) enjoyed this for the first few days after his birthday. But, the voice mixer doesn't seem all that pronounced. It really doesn't sound any different, so I think he was a little disappointed with that. His birthday was about a month ago, and he hasn't even asked for the helmet since the few days after his birthday. It wasn't as exciting to him as I thought it would be.
Captivating & Fun

I was worried about the adjustability of this helmet however I can honestly say from my 5 yr old nephew's little dome to my 30 yr old big tank head there were no issues in this helmet adjusting. He LOOOOOVES it and that's what matters most to me. A Good Buy!

My four year old grandson loves Bumblebee. Anything yellow and black is Bumblebee. I had hidden this toy in a closet for Christmas. Of course, he found it, shrieked, "Grandma, I FOUND BUMBLEBEE!" He was thrilled to be like Bumblebee. The joy in him was worth the early Christmas present.
Cool Stuff

Got it today from UPS. Quick delivery.

Jumped into my BMW 330Ci Convertible in no time with this helmet, and guess what? People around me were just so entertained by my styling. Police doesnt like it for sure. LoL

One more thing, kids are crazy about this cool stuff, so get your child a chance to transform into a bumblebee, wont u?

BTW, I am 31 and enjoying my cool looking with it. :D
Definitely 5 and up!

Bought this for my son because he saw it in the store and begged us for weeks. He was sooo excited to get it for his 4th birthday but it's been a disappointment. We tried adjusting it but it's very heavy and he just doesn't like wearing it. Believe the label when it says 5 and up!
Excellent

This toy is so cool! It adjusts easily and perfectly so that my son and I can both wear it comfortably with only 1 minute of adjustment time. My son LOVES this and so do I. I can't wait to wear it as I go through the drive through at Starbucks Monday! (Not while driving...Ill just put it on right before I get to the window). It is very well made and I swear it looks like it is good enough quality to have been a real movie prop. Very nice! Definaly recomend
