Colorful, Interactive, and Easy to Carry
Bop It is the same size of a small, hand-held car vacuum, and is very light--weighing under a pound--making it easy to travel with. The toy is made up of four main components--a large button in the middle to bop, a blue gadget to pull, a yellow gadget to twist, and a green lever to move sideways for shouting.

Once the game is activated, simply follow the voiced directions before the buzzer sounds. As the game goes on, you will take less time with each turn to complete the actions. So be prepared to "bop it" or "pull it" quickly!

Bop It features useful rubber grips around the "twisting" and "pulling" gadgets to prevent it from slipping out of your hands. The bright, primary colors of the gadgets also add to the fun and goofiness of the game itself.

Fun, Competitive Play or Solo Mode
Bop It can be played by one person in solo mode or in a group/party setting. The toy is interactive and mentally stimulating--which keeps the game interesting and challenging for players of all ages. Bop It promotes responsive reflexes and good listening skills, along with lots of twisting, bopping family fun.

What's in the Box
Bop It, three "AAA" batteries and instructions.

The bop it challenge

Review Date: July 27, 2010
Reviewer: ton39,
This electronic hand held game is fun for both children and adults. As you try to quickly repeat what the bop it tells you to do within a short amount of time, you will find that it begins to become faster. This game provides hours of fun as you try to challenge yourself in getting to the next level. There are three different levels; Novelist, expert, and master providing you with new challenges. This game is much more intense than the Simon because you must respond to the bop it in a much shorter time spand. Another great feature this game provides is that it has an automatic shut off, making it nice so that your batteries won't run down because you cannot accidentally leave it turned on. When you are finished, simply lay it down somewhere and do not touch the buttons. When you here the bop it say "I'm going to sleep", you can rest assure that it is turned off and will be ready to play the next time you want to bop it. I would also like to add that This game is very doable for persons who are blind. I myself have been blind since birth and have absolutely no problem with playing this game as the buttons, twist device and pull mechanism are easily identifyable. I've gotten past the expert level and am in the process of trying to conqur the master level. So, if you want to challenge yourself, pass it around a little group of people, you won't go wrong buying this game; it's very cost friendly.

Not a whole lot of educational value BUT it sure is fun to play! It does develop your hand-ear coordination. It is quite durable and a great family game. It is so funny when anxiety and nervousness builds to the point of the buzzer! Frustratingly fun. I even used and played it in a Sunday school object lesson about the importance and value of hearing and obeying God's word.

I originally bought 2 of these for my granddaughters. They had so much fun playing with it and learning hearing skills and coordination. My older son kept trying to take it away from them so he can play as well. So to keep everyone happy I had ordered a third one for him. I admit that I play it when He puts it down which is not very often. My granddaughters take it with them wherever they go. Great toy and very sturdy.

I had never played BopIt before. My cousin mentioned it and said it was a lot of fun.
I was in Wal-Mart an saw this miniature and decided to buy it for my office desk.
It fits in the palm of the hand and is a great tension breaker with a sense of humor.
It even has a clip on grapling hook feature so that you can attach it to the shoulder strap of a book bag or shoulder bag.
Unique, nifty, catchy!
I recommend it!

This is such a fun toy. It is very simple in concept, but can be challenging for all ages. Our whole family loves it (three children, ages 9, 16, and 18). I actually heard about Bop-it from my high school students!

I found this toy when shopping online for my 6yo for Christmas. He had talked about someone in class bringing one in for show & tell. We love it and enjoy the different features it has (single play, pass and play, great for parties). It has various levels and is challenging and both of my sons (6 & 9) love playing it with Grandma and Grandpa....giggles for everyone. It seems very durable, but we've only had it for one month, so I can't really accurately comment on that yet, but so far, I would definitely recommend it!
Fun, active toy

This toy is fun for our boys (and their parents). While it can help with listening and following instructions, it also is a nice way to burn off a little energy.
Absolutely a great toy!

I bought several of these for the younger kids in my life at Christmas time --- however, ALL the kids fought over them (including the adults)! The toys are very fun and really give the kids a sense of coordination and help with listening skills.

This product was for my son. I'm playing it more than he is. We're enjoying this toy. What I really like is that you don't have to set this toy up it's already in one piece. I recommend this toy for anyone. It's fun and you can play with two or more players. I would even purchase this item as a gift for someone.
Fun game for all ages

I got this for my 8 year old son and he loves it. When his friends come over, they have tons of fun with this toy. The kids are getting the most fun out of it, when they play in pairs and the BopIT tells them to pass it. Not only do they have to pay attention to that queue, the next player has to be immediately ready to jump in and follow the commands. It teaches the kids a lot of hand and eye coordination. It has a few different versions that you can play. The one that doesn't tell you what to do, but only makes the sound of what you need to do, my son loves the most. Trust me, adults will love this too. If you are having a party for kids or adults, just place this toy out on the table and your guest will have a lot of fun with it. I'm still trying to beat my sons score.
This is fun for the entire family

My nephews had two of these when they were children, and now, 10 years later, Ive purchsed one for my daughter. She loves it, and so do I. Great memory and motor skills builder. I think it would be a great ice breaker at staff meetings too. Hmmm...
Fun for everyone!

We have found this to be a very entertaining toy for kids and their parents. Seemingly simple and even silly game play concept which translates into a lot of fun and the occasional embarrassment when you do the wrong action as witnessed by your peers. Great fun.
WHAT A FUN TOY!

I had seen the Bop-It in a couple of stores as I was shopping for my son's Christmas but didn't pick it up! One day a few weeks later he came home from school and said his 3rd grade teacher had brought it to class and let the kids play with it. He told me how much fun it was and to PLEEEEEEEEEAAAASE get it for him for Christmas! Unfortunately, I couldn't find one anywhere at this point! I was able to locate one on Amazon.com and had it sent overnight. Everyone in the family has had a blast playing with it!

Guaranteed by vendor to be here in time for Christmas and true to vendor's word -- it was (great!). I got this for my Down syndrome son to help with his tactile development. My older sons and I enjoy it -- but because it is a bit small and hard for my special needs child to hold on to and the game moves a bit too quickly for him he is not as interested in playing the game as I was hoping he would be--but we will keep working on it. He definitely likes the sounds but gets frustrated. I still recommend it, though, even for parents .... like me! LOL
A fun time for all

We purchased Bop It for my 7 yr old grandson's Christmas present. We all have been having a fun time playing it! Anyone who walks by the toy, picks it up and starts playing! My husband took it to our bedroom and played with it for a couple of hours. He just had to beat it and get the highest score! Competition! It is built very strong, it has it the floor more than once with no problems. If you want a fun toy, for anyone, this is it!
Sooo Much Fun

A toy that should be in everyone's toybox!

Reviewer: Michelle L. Longo,
My 7 1/2 year old son wanted this for Christmas. It was under $20 which I found reasonable. We rented the WII Family Night and it had "Bop It" on it and that was awful. The remote was hard to use while playing this on the WII so I was a little worried about buying Bop It because I thought it was going to be a disappointment on Christmas morning. It was so much fun. My 14 year old niece came over on Christmas and she wants one now. If you're children are competitive, it's worth it. You're always trying to beat the other persons score. This is how the game is played....There's three different things to push. One is the "bop it" button (this also starts the game), one is "twist it" (you have to twist the yellow knob on the end), on the other end is the "pull it" knob which is blue and on the opposite side of the "twist it". To start the game you have to press "bop it" and the game begins. From there you have to listen to what it says and see how far you can go. Example: Bop it, twist it, pull it, twist it, pull it, bop it...it will stop once you get it wrong and keeps your score. Once you're good you can add on the "shout" which is an added option to choose from. You can also play solo, party or novice. Totally am going to purchase it for the next few birthdays coming up.
Great product

I purchased this for my 7 year old granddaughter, from her Christmas list. It's report this game is amazing and very, very, very addictive! My daughter and her husband have played the game themselves (the adults), telling me they get sucked into the it for hours; they call it "the Bop-it time warp". Great for parties too. That said, the game a hit and the overall assessment is the person who came up with this is genious!
