Purchased for my granddaughters first birthday with the recommended matching doll. It came free shipping which was great, but assembly could have been a little smoother. The extended rear wheel base is perfect for a toddler learning to walk.

I bought this as a Christmas gift for my 1-year-old niece who lives in Atlanta (with Amazon, I pay a little extra for wrapping and send the toys directly to my brother's house). According to her parents, my niece loves this this toy, puts her dolls and bears in the seat and also still loves playing with the attached learning toys. They also report it is sturdy and easy to keep clean. I would definitely give this gift again!

I got this stroller for my daughter's first birthday. She is learning to walk and this thing is quite hard for her to push. The wheels don't roll smoothly on the floor. On the carpet it's better, but we have wooden floor downstairs. Pusher is also quite light, she can tip it over very easy. Overall look is cheap, I'm returning it!

To assemble it, was easy,it looks nice and the music is very nice as well.
But it isn`t enough sturdy so my daughter keeps falling down or the stroller keeps falling down my girl.

I have 1 yr old twins who are learning to walk... and they love pushing their baby doll strollers all over the house! They are very sturdy and are easy enough to put together. I have a friend whose 2 1/2 yr old still plays w/ her Stroll-Along walker.
Also, these strollers are better then traditional "walkers" because the child will learn to balance themselves.... in a walker they know they can just sit, or lean and not fall over.

We received this product and Hasbro Playskool Step Start Walk 'n Ride as Christmas gifts. As far as walkers go, this one is the one to get.

PROS:
- Very stable. My daughter (7 months) is able to pull herself up to standing on this without it rolling at all.
- Deep enough space for legs when she starts walking. Compared to the Walk 'n Ride there's about double the space. It's great! My daughter isn't walking yet but she'll push this around on her knees.
- Assembly was fairly easy. There are some areas that need screws at awkward angles that were a pain but overall it was a breeze.
- The "shelves" on the back make it easy for my daughter to climb up. Great feature!

CONS:
- I wish the musical bear was at a different spot. My daughter will hold onto that instead of the bar with one hand sometimes and even when I correct her she'll still grab for the bear. My boyfriend and I tried removing it by hand several times with no success. Once it's there...it's there for good. We stick it behind her doll's head when it's in there but it's only a temporary fix.
- The toys on the front are next to pointless. She could care less about most of them. The "book" is a piece of plastic that can flip back and forth covering up a picture of a rabbit and a mouse. My daughter actually crawled away when I was showing her this feature. The figures on the bars aren't easy to move either. I think my daughter played with them once. The cylinder with the balls (although her favorite of the 3) is difficult to move and gets stuck every 3 or 4 spins. That was disappointing since it was the first thing she went for when she saw this after Christmas.

Considering the cons are only based on accessories (which don't need to be attached for this to work just fine) I would reccomend this to friends with babies able to pull themself up on their knees or to standing. It's great! I only wish the toys were a little more...fun! My daughter does enjoy the music the bear plays though.

I bought this stroller/walker for my grandaughter for Christmas. She's 10 months old, not yet walking. She's enjoying the walker, getting better and better at pushing it around. Had a couple of minor spills, but someone was close by so no injuries. Can't tell how durable it will turn out to be - so far so good. She really enjoys it!

We just purchased this for my daughter who was two days shy of her first birthday. It is a fantastic toy for her. She was already pulling up and trying to push around anything she could. We have a few baby strollers that my 4 and 2 yr old play with but they are cheaply made and would roll out from underneath her when she tried to walk behind it. The only reason I have it 4/5 stars on durability is because it is all plastic and while it is well made I can see how long term use could weaken some points. At this point she doesn't really care that she can out a baby in it but with the encouragement of my 4 yr old she is understanding that something should go for a ride. She started playing with this stroller from the second she got it and still cracks up over the new independence. The only problem she has is when she attempts to walk backwards she does not let go of the handle and she pulls the whole thing back on top of her. As far as I can tell the stroller will hold up well. We have only had this item for a week but it is definitely a favorite. I love how much it is helping her learn the coordination to take steps while allowing her to play along with her older siblings.

My daughter started using this walker at about 13 months. She's a late walker- she was cruising a lot since age 10 months or so, though. She loves this toy. She loves to put toys into it to carry around with her. She can walk now, but she still uses this toy all the time. This walker doesn't go very fast, and it has a nice, stable, wide base.

I bought this stroller for my daughter and was excited that she would have fun pushing her baby doll around. She likes playing with the music and the bead tumbler, but the stroller is very hard to turn around. My little one gets frustrated trying to make it go where she wants it to. It mainly sits in her room collecting dust. The toy is very stable and great for supporting a novice walker, but not fulfilling enough for a gal on the go.

This is a cute toy, good quality from the way it's made[aside from being lightweight], the colors and manufacturing.
However, it's too light, and tips over while my 9 month old pulls up on this walker. It needs to be weighted to prevent this from happening. Or suggested for older babies?

My daughter has fallen backwards now, twice and smacked her head on the hardwood floor.
I do watch her, it just happens so suddenly.

Be careful with this toy, it's VERY LIGHTWEIGHT.

P.S. I knew it didn't come with the cute doll, but it should've.

We bought this stroller for our grandchild who was in the pulling up stage. It is wonderful! We had already bought several of the walk behind / ride on toys and the V-tech walker. Ainsley was never very interested in any of those. From the moment she first saw this one, she knew exactly what it was. She puts Baby Stella in it and pushes her all over. It is very sturdy. Ainsley uses it to pull up and then it doesn't roll fast so she can walk behind it. She never had any problem turning it. She is steady enough with its support that she easily changes direction. I really feel that this toy gave her the confidence to take the next step. She is now officially a toddler having taken her first few steps last week, but she still loves pushing her dolls in this stroller. I highly recommend this stroller. I wish that we had found it before we bought all the other walk behind toys that didn't really work for us.

Wife and I thought this would be a wonderful gift for our granddaughter just learning how to take steps. And this seems to be a wonderful toy to get her walking rather than she being pushed in her own stroller.

But was a bit concerned about that hard plastic in that rear bracket for her cute little face, and was going to use my upholstery skills to add some nice padding. But wife said, we will walk behind her until she is competent. We offer free baby sitting service for our granddaughter and getting quite a collection of toys for her when she comes here to visit us.

I rather enjoy that little song and with our other musical toys, Amber has been getting quite adept and learning which button to push. Questioned assembly for just the two screws at the lower portion of the seat, but grabbed my #2 9" long crosspoint so wasn't scrapping my knuckles with a more common 4".

Just curious about those hard surfaces at the rear where the baby would push. Would think that should be padded.

Also was disappointed that cute little doll was not included, but using my stereo microscope, did find on the box in that light green print on a white background, Doll Is Not Included. So my error in not reading the invisible print.

For a new walker or creeper as they call them this is perfect. My 9 month old weighs 22.5 and she is able to put all her weight on it without it tipping. It is easy for her to maneuver and as long as its carpet area she is able to control how fast it goes. Love it

Purchased the Fisher-Price Brilliant Basics Stroll-Along Walker Sept '08, for my then 9 month old DD.

A hard plastic flip-book, a little roller container with pellets, the bear music box, and a couple of plastic animals for flicking are all permanently attached to the stroller. My DD would sit and play with the stroller whenever she wasn't pushing it, flicking all the little do-dads. The musical tunes are very short and dare I say, sweet. Not annoying at all and my DD rocks and dances with the music.

Our home has Berber carpet and vinyl kitchen flooring. The stroller has never been too fast for my DD or cut loose out from under her while pushing.

The only challenges that I have found with this stroller were putting it together which took about 15 minutes (Steps 1 and 2 stumped me) and trying not to trip on the thing. The FP stroller makes an excellent trip hazard if you are not paying attention. We try to remember to park the stroller in a safe place while not being used.

My DD is 16.5 months old now and still plays with the stroller. We love it and I'd recommend to anyone.

This walker/stroller is a wonderful gift for your little girl that is merging on walking and beyond. It was pretty easy to assemble. Our daughter loves taking her dolls for rides. There is enough space between the back wheels for her to walk easily without kicking it. It doesn't go too fast and get away from her like some walkers do. Even now that our 13 month old is easily walking and starting to run she still loves this stroller for her dolls. I would highly recommend this toy.

This walker has helped my daughter get to walking more. We got it shortly after she turned 11 mo. and she instantly liked it and started using it to stroll. It is very sturdy, and it does roll slowly like some other reviews mentioned but for a beginner walker that is ideal, I think. Overall, I think if you are looking for a sturdy walker that hopefully can be used past learning to walk this is a good choice.

This walking stroller is perfect for tots who are standing up on their own and are beginning to take steps. We got this for our little girl and it has become one of her favorite toys. She loves the fact that she can walk around to wherever she needs to go, and she loves the music that plays on it.

I really like this! We got it for our baby's first b'day. She loved pushing it around. Now that she's walking, I like that she can use it as a stroller. Now maybe some baby dolls don't fit, but her big siblings have had fun stuffing any stuffed animal in that will fit. I can see she'll enjoy it for a while.

This is such a cute little walker for a little girl. However, if you are giving it as a gift, I'd recommend putting it together first, especially if the child is going to want to play with it immediately. It takes quite a bit of assembly! It's a cute toy, very durable and I think my 11 month old is going to get quite a bit of play with it b/c it doubles as a stroller for her baby dolls.

My 16 month old received this as a gift from her grandparents. She likes to sit her baby in it but she hasn't really pushed it around though. The wheels don't turn they kinda slide so I think that's why. I gave it three stars because it doesn't roll very well, the bear doesn't play music, and it was a pain to assemble. It took me 45 minutes to put it together. My other kids like it though, even my son. It doesn't take up much room and it is very appealing to look at.

I bought this for my 11month old daughter. She can stand and walk with assistance but not on her own yet.

We both loved this toy! It takes some effort to move. When she wants to stand at it and play without walking, she can lean against it a bit without it sliding out from under her. It does not turn well but it's light enough she can pick up the back wheels and turn it herself. Unfortunately that also makes it light enough that the few times she fell backwards it flipped over on top of her.

She was able to walk with this without any help from me and loves to put stuff in it and push it around.

You'll need to buy a doll seperately as it does not come with one. I would recommend a 12" - 15" doll.

I think that she'll outgrow this toy in less than a year. We will upgrade to something that moves more freely without restricted wheel movement.

Assembly was simple and took about 10 minutes.

I got this for my daughter when she was about 9 months old. She loves putting her doll in the stroller and taking her back out and playing with the toys on the front. She's still trying to get a handle of walking with it, but she really enjoys it and she has been willing to trying going more places since she started playing with it. The only downfall for us is that we have laminate wood floors and the wheels don't get any traction, so she tends to fall a lot when she pushes it on the wood floors since it will slide everywhere! I still would definitely recommed it to anyone...it's also a big hit with her friends!

I just wanted to add my two cents, I read alot of reviews before buying this for my daughters first birthday and was very excited to give it to her. Two weeks before her birthday she started walking and by her birthday she was speed walking. She liked how it held her dolly in it but because the wheels are made for a slow unsteady walker this was VERY hard for her to push on wall to wall carpeting! My 2 yr old had no problem pushing it, but my 1yr old didnt have the strength and easily gave up.

Too bad because I would have easily gotten rid of a few other push along walkers we owned to keep this one, because there is nothing cutier then seeing your baby girl push her first stroller around the house, just hope they dont have wall to wall carpeting!

My 15 month old daughter loves this toy. We bought it to encourage her to walk. She loves to push her babies in it. I agree that it doesn't turn well, but it is light enough that my daughter can pick it up to turn it. The music only plays for a few seconds, so it isn't too annoying. It is very sturdy. It seems to roll better on carpet than hardwood or tile. It sort of slides on solid floors. I would certainly purchase this toy again.

I bought this stroller for my 1 year-old little girl who is learning to walk. She's loves to put her babies in the stroller and "walk" them around the house. The stroller is the perfect height for little ones and I was surprised at how durable and sturdy it is. The wide base makes it easier for her to push. I only have two small complaints....The stroller is very lightweight. I think that this is a problem with a lot of the walkers on the market. It's hard for her to control because it goes faster than she can walk. I solved this by putting a sock full of beans in her baby doll! The stroller is heavier and easier for her to push. Also, the music that the bear plays is annoying... she and my other kids like it though! i would definitely recommend this toy.
