Alot of water tables out there, but this one is durable, easy to put together and the waterwheel is a great feature. The price was great too and you cant beat having i delivered right to your front door! Comes with a few cute toys too. Until we cleaned our deck we set it up in the den and our daughter loved playing with it even without water so whal-lah it became a multi-seasonal purchase.
Super Cute!

My 2 1/2 year old thinks this is great! Of course he adds his own toys too it. Boats are cute and Little Lego people fit in them. Perfect for imagination play.
Lots of fun...

I bought this for my son's 1st birthday. He loves playing with the boats and putting his hand under the water. Although in the beginning he was knocking over the water tower, but now he doesnt. He is still a little short for him to put water into the top on the water tower, but his cousin who is 9 had fun playing with it too. Great for all ages apparently.

great value

great value for the price. not as many fancy options as other water tables, but kids tend to tire of those toys after awhile anyways. great for letting your child just have fun playing in the water!
Great water table!

My 13 month old son LOVES this water table and you certainly cannot beat the price. Even though it doesn't come with a cover, it is very easy to drain and refilling only takes a second. After all, I'd rather my son play in fresh/clean water anyhow than water that sits, even if it is covered up. I would highly recommend this product, especially at this great price. I contemplated purchasing one with sand in addition to water but read that they get particularly messy. I imagine once the weather turns cooler I could simply fill this with sand for more fun!
Great idea, poor quality

Great idea...was so excited for my one year old grandson to play with...however he was a little small yet so 4 yr old sister played with it. She enjoyed it while it lasted...didn't last long, bottom cracked and wouldn't hold water. Still a great idea. Just need to make it with a more durable plastic.
Lots of fun for the price

I got this as a gift for a 2 year old and a 3 year old. They are fun and look like I spent much more than I did! In the summer you can fill them with water, and in the winter I imagine you can fill them with sand. I really liked this toy, and it was very easy to fit together. Durable and fun. I would definitely buy this product again!
sturdy and easy

We purchased 3 to use during our preschool summer session. We use them outside on the playground. The children love them(even the 4yr olds). They are sturdy. Easy to set up. Easy to keep clean. On really hot days we even add ice cubes to add to the fun.
Great for hot summer days

The kids really love it, and so do I. More hygienic than a wading pool, uses less water than a sprinkler.

I gave this to my best friend's son on his 2nd birthday and he absolutely LOVES it. Based on several of the reviews, I was worried, but I have checked in with them about it several times & they are still very happy with it, They have not had any of the issues mentioned in the more negative reviews.
What perfect fun for a toddler & a pre-schooler

For my grandson's 3rd birthday I ordered this product. His 16-mo. old brother was just as into the water wheel as he was. It is certainly a safe product that both can play with without fighting.

After reading many reviews about this product, I decided to purchase it. My 2 1/2 year old son thoroughly enjoys it. I don't know why the fuss I read about in the reviews over the waterwheel easily falling or not being attached. It sits just fine in the area it's supposed to sit in. My son loves this water table. The neighborhood children love it too. It's really nice for a hot day. I would suggest this to anyone. Your kids would love it!
Best summer toy!

I bought this for the little boy that I am a nanny for. He loves playing in the dog's water bowls so I figured this could be a hit. He plays with it multiple times a day. It's the first thing he runs to when we go outside. It is the best $[...] I have spent on him!!!
fun summer toy for toddler

My 17-month old son absolutely loves this water table, but doesn't seem to appreciate that it's a table, not a pool. He takes the water tower out and climbs right in. Table legs are secure and sturdy enough to handle a 27lb toddler sitting on table without a problem. Agree with previous reviews that it would be nice if the water tower snapped into place, making it more secure.
A great invention!

It was easy to assemble and my son loves it! He puts all of his water creatures in it, and plays for hours. It has two plugs on either side to drain out the water when you are finished playing with it. The first thing he wants to do when he wakes up in the morning is go outside and play in the water. The WaterWheel table is the perfect size and comes with 2 boats, a cup, and a Water Wheel. Great invention!!
Well Worth The Money.

I ordered the Step 2 WaterWheel Activity Play Table for my 16 month old. He has really enjoyed it. The boats that come with it are kind of flimsy and come apart to easy, so I got him some better ones to use. The table is very durable. My son has climbed in it, all 27 lbs of him and it did not tip over. It is heavy enough with the water in it so he can't move it which is nice. This winter I will probably put some sand in it so he will be able to use it year round.
Good for 1-years of age and good buy overall

I bought this table for my 2 year old. She liked it the first day or so, but then after she has been a bit bored of it. I think this table is great for a one year old child. It is sturdy and it's easy to dump water out of it for cleaning purposes. Overall a good buy for the price too!
2 Yr. Old Son Loves this table

Review Date: June 29, 2010
Reviewer: ddtlsr4X,
I love this toy, and so does my 2 year old son. He could literally stand and play at the table for hours and then cry when I make him come in for dinner. My 4 yr. old daughter likes it too, but not as much. They like it when I put ice in with the water. The water wheel works great.

It comes with a couple little sail boats. Those are both pretty cheap looking and feeling, but the rest of the accessories and the table itself are sturdy and should last a very long time.

The legs don't come off once it's assembled, so if you're hoping to store it somewhere through the winter, keep that in mind.
Cover idea

Bought this table for my one-year-old. He loves it! Wish the product came with a cover. I bought a fire pit cover and it works great!
tons of fun

Reviewer: AlaskaMom,
we have had this table for a few months now. My girls (3 and 1 1/2) play with it every day. They not only put water in it but we do bubbles, float flowers, make mud pies, etc.. Clean up is easy, I just hose it down. the table is weather durable as it is solid plastic. On the down side, the little boats have already broken and the table can tip over if not placed on very level ground. My 1 year old climbs into it and tips it over after she empties the water and drags it across the driveway to uneven ground. But over all we love it and use it a lot.
grandson's delight

This table was extremely easy to put together and is very very sturdy. Very clever leg attachments.
Our 2 year old grandson took to it right away and wants to use it every time he's here. The tower intrigues him and he will learn (on his own!) to run the spinner with water from above; rather than with his finger. We commend two-level construction of the water reservoirs; this will lead to more learning thru good play.
Altogether, a very worthwhile purchase.
lot of fun

I bought this table for my son who is 19 months old. He loves to play with it. It took less then 5 minutes to put together and seems to be pretty durable. Another toy that he will get lots of use out of.
The best water play table!

This water play table from Step 2 is amazing! It is sturdy and incredibly easy to put together - it took me about 10 seconds to do it. It is also easy to store away when not in use. I bought this for my 18-month old son who absolutely loves it. He loves to splash in the water, play with the boats, the water wheel, the cup, etc. He gets upset when I say water play time is over - he would play with it all day if he could! It is also great for the hot summer weather because splashing around in the water keeps your child cool while keeping them occupied at the same time. It is educational as well because children can learn the concept of in/out, wet/dry, how boats float on water, what makes the water wheel spin around, etc. If your child has sensory issues, this can help with that by exposing him/her to new experiences, textures, etc. I recommend this product for anyone with a child who is toddler age!
Great Toy!

My daughter is 21 months old and she loves this toy. I have been thinking about getting her this since the weather has gotten warmer and I'm so glad I did. This is the perfect toy for a toddler who enjoys splashing around in the water. And you really can't beat the price!

My friend's kids have the newer version of the Step 2 table with the glacier and animals...and after comparing the two, I think this one is much better. The water wheel keeps my daughter's attention for as long as we happen to be outside. This table is sturdy, well-designed and SO easy to assemble. Worth every penny so far!
Great for 1 year olds

My toddler loves this toy. I got it because she always wants to splash in our dog's water bowl, which I'm not too excited about. She loves splashing the water and using the toys to pour water just about everywhere!
Worth the money

Reviewer: Eleanor Anderson,
We like to add a bit of soap to the water and give our older child little people and other plastic toys a bath. I also found that the plugs leak, but a bit of Glad Press and Seal seems to do the trick! Also, Step 2 is sending a set of replacement plugs that are supposed to fit tighter. Even with the drips, this toy is well worth every penny!!! I purchased this water table for my 23 month old and she loves it! We already have a great sandbox outside, so we decided to look for a water-only table. We bring it inside to play with it on rainy days and take it out on our deck on good weather days. We've added lots of sea animals and bathtub squirters to play with, and measuring cups to pour water with.
Good Clean Fun!

We've had this table for about 3 weeks now, and our 16-month old son loves it. It keeps him occupied for around to 30 minutes before he starts to wanting mom or dad to play with him. Most times, we have to drag him away from the table.

The table is divided into two water reservoirs allowing water to overflow from the upper to lower basin. The table is the perfect height for him. He's can barely manage to put water into the waterwheel tower, so there's still room to grow. Often times, he'll move the tower to the lower level so that he can fill the water tower more easily.

The table was easy to assemble and is very sturdy. It was actually a little larger than I thought it would be.
The best!

We bought and returned the transportation station table. That one looked like a lot of fun, but it had too many pieces. The toys and tracks didn't stay on, the spinners didn't spin, and the kicker was it LEAKED out of the plugs. Yay for Amazon making returns so easy. We got this one instead.

I LOVE that this is JUST for water. Yeah you can put just water in a sand/water table but this set up IMO is better. I love how is has a deeper side and a shallower side with a slide in between. My 6 year old son said "Wow, this is so much better!" when we got it set up. No plug so no leaking. Water wheel actually spins. My 2 year old twins had so much fun with this this afternoon. My only complaint is that we didn't get it last summer!

Super quick to put together - you don't even need to look at the directions - and loads of fun for the kids. Add a rubber duck and a couple extra cups and you're good to go. Simpler is better in this instance.

I have seen some complaints about the plastic being thin and cheap - can't say I have noticed that. It seems perfectly sturdy to me. It's not double walled like some Little Tikes/Step 2 items, but it's not like a Solo party cup, either. Single walled, but quite thick.

You will not be disappointed with this table!
Count me as another satisfied parent!

Not much more can be said that hasn't already been covered in the 200 five-star reviews, so let me just say this water table is TOTALLY worth the money and we are very glad we bought it. My 16-month-old son loves it and plays contentedly with it for probably an hour at a time (the longest I've let him play so far).

The only thing I wish is that the actual water tower hooked in, because it falls over a little too easily (and gets knocked over and pulled off all the time). But that doesn't detract from the awesomeness of the table, because my son loves playing with it regardless!
